Introduction:

The Information Technology (IT) Department plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the digital infrastructure of an organization. It is responsible for managing all aspects related to computer systems, software applications, networks, cybersecurity, data storage, and technical support services. Our IT Department is dedicated to delivering reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that align with organizational goals. We ensure seamless connectivity, maintain critical systems, and provide end-user support to enable efficient business operations.

The functions of this Division are:

• System and Database . 
• Network and Security.  
• Maintenances and Support.
• Promoting ICT as a major catalyst for foreign policy execution. 
• Cascading the national E- Government Strategy in the Ministry operations. 
• Promoting an integrated communications system linking Headquarters, Missions abroad and key stakeholders.
• provide guidance on the Process of Reporting envisaged in the Communication strategy
• Coordinating and facilitating internal communication
• Up-dating information on the Ministry's website
• Developing, updating and ensuring the E-mail system for all staff at headquarters and Missions is operational and effective.
• Improved information flow between Headquarters and Missions
